Wives of the Bible I am so very excited to be able to tell you about a really great book that is officially launching today and I had the blessing of being able to read through it already! What an inspiration it has been to me!

Jolene Engle of The Alabaster Jar has done an amazing job expressing what the Lord laid on her heart about many wives in the Bible and how we can relate to them in our own lives. Her writing style is easy to follow and is like sitting across a coffee table chatting with a good friend and a cuppa.

You can check out her promo link which has all the information on the various ways to purchase the book and you can read below for a chance to win a free copy of the ebook.

I can tell you that I learned a lot about some wives that I thought I was well acquainted with. I also saw how much I related to Sarai/Sarah. I was also once a contentious wife who was transformed by the Lord. I saw the Proverbs 31 wife in a totally new and humbling way. Each story was interwoven with a message of redemption and our Saviors’ great love for us. Ladies, this is a book that I think each of you would be blessed with.

Noah’s wife–she was a mom of three boys like me, as well as followed her husband’s lead into God’s plan for their families lives.

  5. Jana Brown says:

I’d have to say Sarah. I guess because I am praying God will bless my husband and I with a child as He blessed Abraham and Sarah.

  6. Diane C says:

Definitely Sarah, because even though the odds were against her, she was a powerful witness to what God can do and to NEVER give up faith in his promises. My daughter and her husband finally gave birth to a baby girl 5 years ago. They had been married for 12 years already when little Abby was born. She has been a true blessing!!!

  7. Katie says:

My favorite Wife of the Bible is Noah’s wife. Her name mean “Beautiful” She stuck beside Noah through all his dreams, building the Ark, and living in it with all those aniimals for as long as they did and she was a cheerful person through it all right to the end of their life together.

My Favorite wife in the Bible is Ruth, Because of her extraordinary principle of honor. The alliance she made with God, with Naomi and Boaz, unleashed the unusual in her harvest of life.
