Hey friends! It’s been awhile since I was inspired to write anything new here on the blog. But this morning, I felt like sharing a little bit of the behind-the-scenes stuff that goes on between my beautiful wife and I on a daily basis.

My daily routine has me getting up and ready for work at 4am. Then I have a 55 mile commute from our farm to my office in the big city – right outside Washington DC. On most normal days, I’m already sitting at my desk when Tiffani’s alarm goes off at 7:00am. Then she starts getting ready for her own day of managing the farm and homeschooling the four kids we still have at home. She usually messages me on my phone to wish me a good morning, and give me some bit of encouragement for the day.

So… for your viewing pleasure, here is today’s bit of chit-chat between the two of us, unscripted and unedited. I pray that it blesses you, and inspires you to carry on similar exchanges with your own spouse!

By the way, the letter-phrase “SHMIDLYTM” is our own takeĀ on the old story called “SHMILY” – which means “See how much I love you.” The “D” and the “TM” are our own additions. The “D” means “DO”, and the “TM” means “the mostest!” The entire phrase is “See how much I DO love you the mostest!” We even have these letters engraved inside our wedding rings.

I also regularly refer to Tiffani as “the most beautiful woman in the world”, and if you’re interested to read my post by that title, you’ll find it right here.

May the Lord bless your marriage abundantly.

Too cute! I love the dynamic you two keep alive.

Thanks Jenn! Few things annoy me more than a couple that’s been married a long time that have resigned themselves to being old, dry and boring. It doesn’t have to be that way!

I ADORE my wife! Why in the world would I not want to keep on telling her that (in various ways) for the rest of my life??

My wife and I do this quite often, however, she is not able to be quite as prompt with her replies…she is a cook in a child-care center, and runs at 90kph (that’s 55mph for those of you south of the 49th). We also use an app that is connected between just the two of us, no address book for mis-sent texts), and I have learned how to copy and paste your tweets directly…which really works nice.
Thank you for what you are doing. Blessings.

Thank you Kevin! I appreciate that encouragement today, and I hope you have a fantastic weekend! Thanks for being a regular reader of the Twitter account!
